NowThis Money Video

In August, we were contacted by a producer at NowThis, a media company, about doing a video interview for their NowThis Money Facebook page.

We love to share the idea of early retirement, to hopefully inspire others, so we hopped on a short Skype call and answered some questions. We rambled for awhile, but luckily the producer asking the questions directed the interview well, and they had some good editors that made us sound much better than we normally come off.

Since being posted, the video has been viewed over 1.9 million times!

The following is the result.

There were thousands of comments on the video on Facebook. There were the normal skeptics and naysayers, of course (and, to be fair, the video was fairly content-light; it introduced the concepts, but didn’t have time to go in-depth on the how), but I was surprised at how many of the comments were positive or were made to “tag” a friend so that they saw it. Quite a few people said they were inspired to try something similar, which was the whole reason we did the interview. Success!

What’d you think of the video? Let us know in the comments!

    Cute video!

I scrolled through the FB comments out of curiosity. The collection of “OMG! She/he was my teacher” comments were great!

Haha, those were my favorite, too! Love to have a little nudge of extra influence on them years later. 😉
